Following last year's successful launch we are again including poster sessions in this year's conference. It is hoped that this will be a useful opportunity for researchers and postgraduate students attending the conference to present their "Work In Progress", enabling them to discuss their evolving projects with others in the field, gain feedback and expand publicity for their work.
Those presenting posters will be provided with a space (2*2m) for their poster in the main area used for refreshments. There may be a limited opportunity to provide additional desktop space for laptops or documentation. In addition to the tea and coffee breaks, there will be two 45 minute "Poster Session" slots dedicated for poster presenters. All poster presenters will be invited to contribute an article to Expert Update (http://www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~frans/expertUpdate.html) the BCS-SGAI magazine and a cash prize will be awarded to the best poster selected by conference delegates.
If you wish to present a poster at AI-2003, please provide the AI-2003 Poster Session Organiser (contact address below) with an extended abstract including title, author, keywords and description of your work. This should not exceed 5 A4 pages and will be included in the "registration pack". The conference paper formatting specifications also applies for extended abstracts. The preferred submission format is PDF but we are happy to accept PS and Word documents. Click here for formatting instructions.
