Annual ConferencesSGAI has organised an annual series of international conferences since 1981. The proceedings of the technical and applications streams have been published in book form since 1984 initially by Cambridge University Press and more recently by Springer-Verlag as the "Research and Development in Intelligent Systems" and "Applications and Innovations in Intelligent Systems" series. Since 1997 the best refereed papers in each stream of the conference have been reprinted as a special issue of an international journal (in expanded form since 2010).
